Small Native timber Items. Recycled NZ timber; wine glass
Beautiful decoupage canvases made from serviettes
Our website is once again up and running without any hick-ups (we hope)
Certainly a busy season with heaps of good craft markets around but the
weather is not playing the part, but you can only try. We are
booked in for Petone and Karori in February, and the second Martinborough market in March.
In between we do the local market in Wanganui. Also remember our shop, you can find out where
we are by going to googlemaps, type in Kej's Cottage Craft, Wanganui, New Zealand and you
will find us just like that

About Us
KEJ'S Cottage Craft is an owner / operator home based business situated along State Highway 3 in the beutiful Rangitikei district.
The owners Jan and Sven operate the business from their home and have set aside a spare room as workshop for the decoupage creations. Sven also got a fully equipped workshop for his wood work.
The owners
Jan Kerr; chief designer, gluer, keen gardener, (got green fingers), and loves her race horses
Sven Elfstrom; chief bottle washer and cook, trying to work the computer, love to work with recycled native timber.
What we make
Decoupage; The old french way of making affordable art by using printed serviettes glued onto artist's canvas, where even the edges are finished off by use of serviettes. They are sealed with a clear plastic compound and when dry the backside off the canvas is taped like a picture to hide staples, joints etc to create a finished product.
Native timber items; Most items we make are from ideas and sometimes alterations to basic ideas from other people. Most of the timber used is recycled New Zealand native timber but we do use other timber as well. Our most popular items are the shootertrays with bell, billholder in the shape of a gate (made out of material from an old gate) wine glass carriers and other bits and pieces. Coming up with new ideas every now and then. All timber items are treated with natural products to maintain depts and the natural look of timber.
